So. I didn’t and won’t watch this week’s Glee episode. I scanned through it quickly to see if there were any Blaine scenes or solos (there weren’t) and that was it. I have pretty much no idea what happened. I don’t know if Emma said yes to Will or if Will has stopped being so awful. I also don’t know if Sam continues his creepy campaign or if it has become less creepy because Mercedes is now into it.
What I did see (unfortunately) was the scene with the Black swimming coach… and how glee managed to trivialize MLK by making one of his speeches part of the punch line for a Black character. And people wonder why I think that glee is racist. I saw at least five different things wrong with that scene. Whatevs.
What is important, what matters, is that I’m finally, finally done with the show. Because I don’t know what happened or what is happening, and *I don’t care*. Yes! So. Next time, I’m just gonna edit out all the non-Blaine scenes, watch those, and move on with my life. I win!
